Pelco and Agent Vi Partnership Creates New Video Analytics Solution
Pelco, a division of Schneider Electric, recently announced a new partnership with Agent Video Intelligence (aka Agent Vi) to combine their video management platform, VideoXpert, with the video analytics platform created by Agent Vi, savVi. The companies contend that the merger will improve functionality and performance of VideoXpert VMS and create an effective and intuitive integrated video surveillance and analytics solution.
savVi’s analytics capabilities will be utilized on each camera that is part of the surveillance system managed by VideoXpert and the integration of VideoXpert’s Ops Center will provide a host of benefits including detections and alerts delivered in real time, easy configuration, and more.
VideoXpert’s technology allows users to easily recall by tagging cameras, gives them the ability to create custom workspaces which allows employees to make the most of their time by focusing on tasks relevant to their work, and offers users the option to create and share playlists. Its navigable design includes open architecture to allow for diverse integration options, giving users creative control. It also allows for the integration of other physical and building security systems which allows for greater control than traditional integration. And the VideoXpert Ops Center client allows for modular plug-in which creates a coherent and unique network solution.
Agent Vi’s savVi video analytics system contains automatic advances analysis tools which allow users to immediately detect and extract events and relevant information from video footage. This negates the necessity of time-consuming tasks that are usually required to watch live feeds or manually sort through video recordings.
savVi will be available as a plug-in for VideoXpert which will be offered to Pelco customers as part of the Pelco Partners First program on the Partner First website.
